Backround of the project:	Takkasaare farm has 200 bovines, 100 of them are dairy-cows. The annual milk output is 9314 kg. They have 340 hectares of land and 28 hectares of forest. The farm employs four people of Türi municipality (2012). They offer seasonal service for area's farmers and they have an ongoing exchange of experiences.
Objectives of the project:	There was a need for modern farm devices to increase production efficiency.
Main activities:	Measure 1.4.1 - Purchasing telescope loading device, wheel-tractor, grain dryer, tractor caravan and press-harvester with 3 meters of working space. Measure 1.4.2 - Purchasing automatic wind shelter and manure managing device of cable scraper.
Output and results indicators:	The working efficiency was increased. There was an opportunity to reserve quality animal feed on a right time. The purchased machines gave an opportunity to increase the cattle up to 200 animals. The welfare of animals was improved.
Experiences/lessons learned:	The owners of Takkasaare farm are progressive and venturesome, use the consultation service and participate on trainings, information days and study trips. The farm has become more successful and sustainable.
Additional information about the project:	The project was a nominee for innovativeness category of RDP projects competition in 2012 "Notice the Innovative Agriculture". Received 2. prize of the competition "The Best Farm in 2012" Won the competition "Farmer of the Year 2005".
