An online Dairy Conference will take place on the 30th of November this year.

Online conference will take place in Latvian/English. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

The conference will discuss on the possibilities of climate-neutral and sustainable management in the dairy sector.

It is absolutely clear that climate challenges will not go past dairy farming. Climate and environmental issues, the need to reduce emissions will affect every farmer in the near future. This is related to the EU's Green Deal policy, which is in line with the many legislative proposals and consumers' expectations. The sustainability of the company will be taken into account by financiers, including banks, when deciding on investment financing. The conference will assess both the global perspective on climate-neutral dairy policy and Latvia's potential to reduce GHG emissions. There also will be discussed the sustainable and multifunctional dairy sector in Latvia, which is a sustainable company from the point of view of banks, as well as the experience and opportunities for climate-friendly dairy farming.
