AGENDA SWG SCAR AKIS 5 - 11th Meeting
‘s Hertogenbosch, 6 and 7 April 2022

This SCAR SWG AKIS will be the 11th meeting of the 5th mandate endorsed by the SCAR plenary in December 2018. The meeting will be hosted by the Dutch Government at ZLTO, ‘s Hertogenbosch (NL).

Its specific role is to discuss the following topics defined in the 5th mandate:

1. AKIS policies at national and EU level feeding further EIP synergies
2. Achieving greater Impact of the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) implementation in EU AKISs
3. Digitalisation
4. The role of education in the EU AKIS

This meeting will develop in particular the following topics:

• CAP AKIS strategies in the MS
  • MS’ CAP AKIS draft plans: sharing strategies and interventions, and discussion
• Strengthening the multi-actor approach
  • Introduction of the 3 new EU thematic networks, BROILERNET, B-THENET and Grazing4Ecology
  • Policy recommendations on implementing and setting up the MAA
• National Knowledge Reservoirs for practice oriented materials for agriculture and practice:
  • MS’ national knowledge reservoirs: sharing examples and discussion (continuation from the meeting on 18 February 2022)
• Training and Education: how to improve educational systems, training and the link with advisors ?
  • MSs sharing examples of training schemes, including the link with education and advisors

Following topics will also be addressed:

• The 5th mandate final report actions and timeline
• Discussion about the topic and the location/hosting of our next (12th) meeting on the 20 and 21st June.
