‘s Hertogenbosch, 6 and 7 April 2022


This SCAR SWG AKIS will be the 11th meeting of the 5th mandate endorsed by the SCAR plenary in December 2018. The meeting will be hosted by the Dutch Government at ZLTO, ‘s Hertogenbosch (NL).

Its specific role is to discuss the following topics defined in the 5th mandate:

  1. AKIS policies at national and EU level feeding further EIP synergies
  2. Achieving greater Impact of the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) implementation in EU AKISs
  3. Digitalisation
  4. The role of education in the EU AKIS

This meeting will develop in particular the following topics:

10.00 – 10:30: Update on CAP AKIS and EIP AGRI, tips for MS to implement CAP Plans – Inge Van Oost (DG AGRI)
10:30 – 11:00: Coffee break
11:00 – 13:00: MS presentations on CAP AKIS Plans and discussion – All (each 10’) All SWG AKIS members please prepare your final draft CAP AKIS plans to share 

13:00-14.00: Lunch break
14.00 – 15:45: MS presentations on CAP Plans – All
15:45-16:00: Coffee break
16:00 – 18:30: Visit of farm or educational institution – Peter Paree (ZLTO)

13:30 – 15:15 Workshop on policy recommendations on implementing and setting up the MAA – Susanne von Munchhausen and Lisa Van Dijk (Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Liaison project)
15:15 – 16:15: Roundtable on National Knowledge Reservoirs for practice, connecting with the EU Knowledge Reservoir cont.
16:15 – 16:45: Report 5th Mandate – Actions and Timeline Sylvia Burssens and Gregor Claus (SWG SCAR-AKIS TST), structure of the report and input of SWG members
