AGENDA SWG SCAR AKIS 5 - 12th Meeting
Lugo, Spain, 20 and 21
 June 2022

 

This SCAR SWG AKIS will be the 12th meeting of the 5th mandate endorsed by the SCAR plenary in December 2018. The meeting will be hosted by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Lugo.

Its specific role is to discuss the following topics defined in the 5th mandate:

  1. AKIS policies at national and EU levels feeding further EIP synergies
  2. Achieving greater Impact of the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) implementation in EU AKISs
  3. Digitalisation
  4. The role of education in the EU AKIS
  5. Social innovation.

 

This meeting will develop in particular the following topics:

  • CAP AKIS strategies in the MS and EIP-AGRI
    • Latest developments, and discussion
    • AKIS in motion, outcomes of the Northern and Southern regional workshops, i2Connect
  • Achieving greater impact of the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) implementation in EU AKISs
    • Policy recommendations for better implementation of the MAA, outcomes of the SWG SCAR-AKIS/Liaison joint workshop at the 11th SWG SCAR-AKIS meeting
    • Research and policy recommendations to enhance interactive innovation, results of the ESEE/IFSA workshop
  • Digitalisation
    • Digital training and tools for advisors and farmers: Fairshare, DATALife, DG EMPL, COPA-COGECA
  • Training and Education: innovative approaches for advisory training & enabling environment
    • CECRA advisory training
    • Policy recommendations on advisory training & enabling environment: AgriLink, I2Connect
  • Social Innovation
    • Lessons from the practice: FARMWELL, SIMRA-Barcelona forestry case
    • Policy recommendations to better integrate social innovation into AKIS
  • Following topics will also be addressed:
    • The 5th mandate final report
    • Topic and the location/hosting of the forthcoming (13th) meeting
