03.-04.07.2008 - Team games

The first team-training summer seminar of the Estonian Leader local action groups

Team games – LEADER IS team work!

In Viljandimaa, Vanaõue Recreation Centre, 3–4 July, 2008

At the summer seminar, simultaneously with discussion panels and the work of Estonian Leader 2009 photo teams’ work and with active participation of all the participants team games will take place.

Although discussion panels will be exciting and there will be several interesting speakers there, people have no strength to stay indoors for the whole day. Choose a suitable panel but spend the time which remains for team work!

The organisers of team games suggest:

„Experience unites!

The situations to be solved are suitable for studying the principles of team work. For finding solutions, all the group members are equally important, but sometimes some people have a bigger role. Each element helps to understand different skill combinations.

Skills such as listening, proficiency, mastering difficulties, managing, planning, associating, trusting will be polished in the course of exciting and adventurous activity. The tasks are of different complexity and adventurous, requiring different skills.

3 July, at 14.00–18.00

Team games

Explanantion:
  • representatives of local action groups will form teams, it is possible to join another action group for team. Guests, panel participates and the organisers of the summer seminar may be involved in a team

  • guests also have an opportunity to form their own team(s) and engage the organisers of the seminar

  •  up to 24 teams are expected

  •  registration of teams will take place on site
An easy adventure track:

The teams will compete on two identical adventure tracks by twos, the time of passing through the track counts.

It may not be easy to find a solution immediately for all the tasks, joint effort of all team members is required.

A more complicated adventure track:

The teams will compete one by one. Each element of the adventure track will be passed through by a number of team members equal to the number of team members in the smallest group. Inequality between different group sizes will not be important as the tasks are not too difficult.

Though, they may be rather thrilling both for team members and onlookers.

4 July, at 11.00–12.00

Awarding prizes to the best teams at the closing event of the summer seminar.

The organisers of team games suggest convenient clothes and sports shoes.

The team activities will not be neck-breaking, it might be useful to be in good form but those who perform soft and fair always go far.

Team training will be provided by Wild Events OÜ
